All meals are NOT created equal.

There are certain culinary dishes that truly satisfy, inspire and leave you wanting more. Unfortunately, these can be hard to find and even more difficult to remember.

But what if there was an easy way to keep track of your favorite dishes and discover new ones based on your individual taste? Now, imagine if you could do all of this and help feed those in need at the same time!

Through dishKarma you upload, share and compare your favorite dishes, while building a personal menu and tracking your search for the ultimate meal. For each dish you upload, our partners will donate one meal to Feeding America, an organization that supports local food banks.

How will this work?

You'll begin by creating your personal menu. Add as many of your favorite dishes as you can remember, course by course, from restaurants around the world.

Then, each time you experience a remarkable new dish, add it to your menu so you can share and compare it with others. Your menu will constantly evolve based on new discoveries and suggestions from the dishKarma community.

We'll track each dish, and soon dishKarma will become a powerful and personalized recommendation engine that takes the guesswork out of what to order.

Don't forget, every time you upload a dish you're also helping to feed someone in need.

Background

dishKarma began over 15 years ago as a verbal icebreaker called The Ultimate Meal Game. To play, each participant shares their favorite individual dishes, course by course, in a round-robin format. Not only is it a great way to learn about food, it inevitably leads to personal connections around travel, culture, hobbies and more.

The goal of dishKarma is to replicate the social experience of playing the Ultimate Meal Game online, connecting people to new dishes and to each other.
